The setting was marvellous. Furthermore, it was adjacent to Scotland, Edinburgh and most other areas in Scotland and Edinburg.
Rooms were rather small.

Fantastic base for weekend. Warm welcome from host. Lovely room, provided with bathroom. Historic building, convenient and exceptionally nice location. And so close to supermarkets and town centre, nearby bars and restaurants, and railway station with links to Edinburgh and most other areas in Scotland.

We had a fantastic stay in this cosy apartment. the location was amazing with a big supermarket just a short walk away. the train station to Edinburgh was also very close, making it easy for us to explore the city. the apartment itself was spacious and well-equipped, with a separate lounge, bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. It felt like a home away from home.
The shower was a bit cramped and could be a bit safer with a walk-in shower recess instead of being over the bath.

The apartment was incredibly comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. We especially appreciated the washing machine, which was a lifesaver during our long trip. The apartment's location was also perfect - just a short walk from the train station, making it easy to explore the surrounding areas. Another advantage was the convenient parking right outside the door, saving us the hassle of finding a spot. we had a great experience and would definitely consider staying here again.
There were honestly no negatives during our stay. We had a smooth check-in process and never had any complaints.
